The holiday season is here! To make sure your gifts arrive in time for Christmas, please take note of our shipping cut-off dates below.

As a small team, it may take us up to 3 days to pack your orders, so please factor this in when placing your Christmas orders.

Please note: We cannot guarantee that orders will arrive before Christmas. Once your order is in the hands of Australia Post, delivery times are outside our control. We are unable to offer refunds or replacements for delays caused by the postal service.

Zebra Finch is not responsible for delays, lost parcels, or failure to deliver caused by the postal service or external factors, and we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for any such delays.

Parcel Post Cut-Off Dates for Christmas

All orders ship from our Newcastle West store in NSW, using Australia Post.

If you’re sending with Parcel Post, we recommend the last day for shipping:

  • To NSW: Friday 19th December

  • To ACT: Friday 19 December

  • To VIC: Friday 19 December

  • To QLD: Friday 19 December

  • To SA: Friday 19 December

  • To WA: Thursday 18 December

  • To TAS: Friday 19 December

  • To NT: Tuesday 16 December

Express Post Cut-Off Dates

These dates apply to items sent to metro areas. If you’re outside a metro area, allow extra time.

  • Last day to send via Express Post: Monday 22nd December

Local Delivery Cut-Off

Our cut-off for FREE Local Delivery is Friday 19 December 2025.

Orders placed after this date will be delivered in the New Year.

Packing Break

We’ll be taking a short break from packing online orders from 23rd–2nd January 2025.

Any orders placed during this period will be shipped in the New Year.
