Giving Back Gift Wrap

We are now charging $2 per present for gift wrapping in store and online for items bought at Zebra Finch, with all the proceeds from the gift wrapping going to our chosen charity of the month.

For November and December, we are donating to Jenny's Place. A local non-for-profit service providing direct support to women and children who are experiencing domestic and family violence and/or homelessness (or are at risk of homelessness).

You also have the option to upgrade your donation to $5 or to leave a percentage donation while you check out. We really appreciate your kindness and your support to this amazing charity.

A big thank you to everybody who has chosen to get their gifts wrapped with us online and in store over the past couple of months. Through January to April, we raised over $600 for Got Your Back Sista - a local charity that empowers women and children to begin again after experiencing the trauma or domestic violence.⁠ Through May and June, we raised $900 for Dangerous Females -  a local charity that empowers women and children to begin again after experiencing the trauma or domestic violence. Through July and August, we raised $750 for Soul Hub Newcastle - a local food bank dedicated to supporting Newcastle’s most vulnerable population. Through September to October, we raised for Pankind Australia - supporting pancreatic cancer research

Thank you all for continuing to support our little shop and getting your gifts wrapped with us. It means a lot and we are so grateful we are able to support these charities which are close to our hearts.⁠
